Is Jesus really the messaiah???

This question has been greatly debated throughtout the ages.Was He really just a great teacher,or is truly the saviour of the world?For Jesus to have been the Messaiah,He would have had to fulfill all of the Messianic prophecies.The probability of one fulfilling eight of the prophecies is 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000;yet ,Jesus fulfilled all of the recorded prophecies.The Bible unequivocally answers the question and boldly declares that Jesus,the Anointed One,is the Messiah.

PROPHECY

· Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign;Behold, a virgin shall conceive , and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14

· Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. -----Psalm 2:6

· Yea,mine own familiar friend , in whom I trusted ,which did eat of my bread ,hath lifted up his heel against me.-------Psalm 41:9

· False witnesses did rise up;they laid to my charge things that I knew not.-------Psalm 35:11

· I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair:I hid not my face from shame and spitting.--------Isaiah 50:6

· All they that see me laugh me to scorn:they shoot out the lip,they shake the head ,saying ,He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him:let him deliver him,seeing the delighted in him---------Psalm 22:7-8

· But he was wounded for our transgressions,he was bruised for our iniqities:the chastisement of our peace was upon him;and with his stripes we are healed.-----Isaiah 53:5

· ...because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors....Isaiah 53:12

· He keepth all his bones :not one of them is broken.-----Psalm 34:20

· ....and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced....---------Zechariah 12:10

· ....and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.-------Isaiah 53:12

· Into thine hand I commit my spirit....-----Psalm 31:5

· For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell;neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.-------Psalm 16:10

FULFILLMENT

· Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise...his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph ,before they came together,she was found with child of the Holy Ghost...Then Joseph...knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.-----Matthew 1:18,24-25

· And set up over his head his accusation written,This is Jesus the king of the jews.----Matthew 27:37

· ...and Judas Iscariot,who also betrayed him.-----Matthew 10:4

· Now the cheif priests , and elders , and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus,to put him to death;But found none:yea,though many false witnesses came,yet found they none.....--------Matthew 26:59-60

· They did they spit in his face, and buffeted him;and otherssmote him with the palms of their hands...-----Matthew 26:67

· Then saith Jesus unto them,All ye shall be offended because of me this night:for it is written ,I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.----Matthew 26:26

· Then were there two thieves scrucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.-----Matthew 27:38

· But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already,they brake not his legs..."-----John 19:33

· But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side , and forthwith came there out blood and water.----John 19:34

· Then said Jesus,Father,forgive them;for they know not what they do.And they parted his raiment,and cast lots.-----Luke 23:34

· And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice ,he said ,Father,into thy hands I commend my spirit :and having said thus,he gave up the ghost.----Luke 23:46

· ...his soul was not left in hell,neither his flesh did see corruption.------Acts 2:31
